Looking at the need for practical hands-on training
for the working engineers as well as engineering students,
EFY will soon start hands-on training courses all over India.

We have begun with a few selected subjects for the
hands-on training, which include:

• Basic Electronics
• PCB Designing
• Microcontrollers
• Embedded Systems
• Robotics
• VLSI Design

The course material for these subjects has been finalised with the help of Lead Trainers who are in turn helping us to train the other trainers.

The courses are modular in nature, i.e., one is free to opt for the modules or the extent of training. Each module is of a short duration, say, a week.

There are  three options available for training:
(a) at the premises of an institute/organisation
(b) at EFY training centres which at present are in Delhi and Bangalore
(c) self-learning with the help of kits, manual and helpdesk

The training centres are proposed to be set up all over India in due course. Besides training, these centres would also provide/sell training kits, other educational and related material.

The Indian electronics industry would be contacted on a regular basis for their requirements, so that the training is in sync with the requirements.

The candidates for training would be accepted on the basis of their educational background, objectives for the training and an aptitude test. Only those who pass the required minimal criteria would be taken in for training.
